Cookie Policy

1. What this covers

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page explains what we store, why, and how to change your mind. It also covers similar technologies like local storage, which works much the same way.

2. What we use

Necessary — always on. These make the site work. They don't track you across other sites and we don't ask consent for them, because the site can't function without them.

NamePurposeDuration
pv_cookie_consentRemembers your cookie choice so we stop asking12 months
pv_cookie_consent (local storage)A mirror of the same choice, so it survives if the cookie is clearedUntil you clear your browser
pv.chat.conversation (local storage)Keeps your chat thread when you reload the pageUntil you clear your browser
pv.chat.visitor (local storage)An anonymous identifier so the assistant knows which conversation is yoursUntil you clear your browser

Analytics — only with your consent. These tell us which pages get read and how people arrive. They don't run unless you agree, and the site works identically if you decline.

Advertising. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We don't run ads on this site and we don't let anyone else track you through it.

3. Changing your mind

Use on this page to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Declining analytics costs you nothing — nothing on the site stops working. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site including the chat assistant from working.

4. Do Not Track

We treat a browser Do Not Track signal as a decline of analytics cookies. Necessary storage still applies, because the site cannot run without it.
