What this build does
Availability is shown per clinician for the week, updating as the day fills, so the choice is a person and a time rather than a request and a wait. Before choosing, the patient picks what the appointment is about — that decides the length of slot offered, which is how a practice stops ten-minute appointments being used for twenty-minute problems.
Confirmation happens on the page and comes with reschedule, cancel and add-to-calendar. The mobile view has a repeat-prescription tab where the patient taps the items they need and submits the request, which is the second most common reason anyone rings reception.
The rest is the information that otherwise generates calls: four clinicians and a nurse introduced briefly, the hours reception answers the phone, a 'before you come' section of the most-asked questions, and finding-us detail down to the floor, the twelve rear parking spaces and whether there is a lift.
