Behind the login sits the part that keeps clients calm: matter progress, costs to date updated each Friday, recorded time in hours, disbursements, amount billed, the current estimate range and the next review date, with a request-a-costs-update action. Billing disputes in small firms are almost always information disputes, and this removes the information gap.
