What this build does
Sunnyside's page opens with the two facts a hungry person wants: the kitchen is open, and food is ready in about fifteen minutes. The menu doubles as the order form — each item adds to a basket that totals live in the sidebar, with a promo field and an empty state that says what to do next rather than sitting blank.
Collection is a chosen slot, not a guess. Pick up at 10:15, pay by card, and the confirmation turns into a status screen: order number, pickup time, address, paid state, and a line saying the order started two minutes ago and will be ready at 10:15. A 'running late' link lets someone tell the kitchen instead of arriving to cold pancakes.
Everything else is deliberately short. One menu with no ordering games and prices that include everything, the address described relative to the tram stop, weekday and weekend hours with the kitchen's earlier closing time, and a delivery line with its radius, fee and free-over threshold.
What's in it
- Order-ahead menu with a live basket and total
- Timed pickup slots rather than an open-ended wait
- Order status screen: in the kitchen, ready-at time, paid state
- 'Running late' message back to the kitchen
- Promo code field
- Kitchen-open indicator with an approximate wait
- Delivery radius, fee and free-over threshold stated up front
