What this build does
Tenseki serves one menu decided the morning it is cooked. There is nothing to browse, so the build spends its space on the thing that is scarce: the counter. A plan of the nine seats shows which are taken, marks where the chef stands, and holds adjacent seats automatically when someone books for two. Choosing a seat is the booking.
Because a no-show costs a whole cover, a €50 deposit per guest is taken at the point of booking, with the forty-eight-hour refund rule stated on the same screen rather than buried in terms. Tonight's eleven courses are listed and tap to expand, the sake pairing is priced separately, and a dietary field sits next to it — the questions a counter would otherwise answer by phone.
The room is hard to find on purpose, so the visit section carries the practical detail: entrance through the courtyard, no sign, ring 4B, arrive ten minutes early because the first course is served at the sitting hour. An EN/SI switch sits in the header, because half the guests are visitors.
