CASA VERDE

Trattoria website with a weekly menu and table reservations

A neighbourhood trattoria whose menu is rewritten every week, so the site had to make the menu editable and the table bookable — nothing else competes for attention.

What this build does

Casa Verde buys from four producers within ninety kilometres and writes the menu around whatever arrives. That single fact decides the whole build. The menu is not a PDF and not a designer's job — it is a block the kitchen edits, timestamped on the page so a visitor can see it was updated two hours ago. Dishes that have run out come off in seconds from a phone.

The reservation form is four fields: date, time, guest count with plus and minus buttons, and an optional occasion. It confirms in place, then offers modify, cancel and add-to-calendar without sending anyone to an email thread. Underneath sit the things people actually check before leaving the house — the address with a note about the nearest garage, opening hours per day including the closed Monday, and a rotating strip of recent reviews.

The private room gets its own short section because it sells differently: capacity, a note on minimum spend at weekends, and an enquiry that promises three menu options by the next morning. On a phone the layout collapses to a sticky bar with the open-until time, the reserve button and the menu — what someone standing outside the door needs.
